Tabs and tools slide over your page from the top, left or right. A quiet edge indicator brings them back when you need them. Choose a hide delay, pin the controls or use Ctrl+L to go straight to the address bar.

Right-click for page and tab tools. Press F1 for a searchable shortcut legend. Block ads, trackers, cookie notices and annoyances, with temporary or saved domain exceptions. Inspect a page with F12. Keep bookmarks nearby. Inactive tabs sleep after five minutes to release their page processes; audio keeps playing.

Import browser-exported password CSVs into a local encrypted vault. Save encrypted contact, address and payment-card profiles. Choose Autofill on an HTTPS site to fill a login, shipping, billing or payment form.

- Download and extract the entire ZIP.
- Keep the extracted files together and open Sill.exe.
- Open Menu to choose a theme, import passwords or add autofill profiles.
This is an unsigned early beta. It includes the Chromium engine through Electron. The browser checks for new downloads at startup and hourly. Memory use depends on your pages; no comparison with Chrome has been established.
What is still in progress?
Full parity with a paid ad blocker is not claimed; some ads and custom overlays can evade filters. Browser extensions, automatic installation of security updates and signed installers are not included yet. Autofill supports standard HTTPS forms; embedded payment frames, cloud wallets and some custom forms are not supported. Standard HTTPS login forms offer to save or update passwords; some custom login flows are not detected. Export passwords from your old browser first; delete the plaintext CSV after import. Sleeping tabs reload and may lose unfinished work. Sill has a separate local profile.
Privacy in this beta
Sill has no account service or analytics. Website cookies remain in the local profile. Searches go to Google; visited websites receive normal browser requests. Passwords, contacts, addresses and cards use Windows account encryption and remain on this computer.
