Space for your work

A custom 72 px browser frame keeps tabs, navigation and work tools close together. Link destinations appear at the bottom when you hover. The Sill icon and interface follow your selected theme.

Twenty themes, plus yours

Choose from 20 built-in palettes or create your own surface, text and accent colors. Themes are saved locally.

Passwords, addresses and cards

Import password CSVs exported by Chrome, Edge, Firefox and compatible browsers. Valid HTTPS logins are encrypted with your Windows account. Store contact, shipping, billing and card profiles, then choose Autofill on a matching HTTPS form. Existing values remain in place.

Keep every transfer in view

Open Downloads or press Ctrl+J for live byte progress, pause, resume where supported, cancel and retry. Search recent downloads, open files or show them in their folder. Clearing history keeps the files.

Protection you control

Block ads, trackers, cookie notices and other annoyances with bundled filter lists, automatic list updates, custom rules and an element picker. Temporarily allow a domain until Sill closes, save an exception or turn protection back on. Cookie notices are hidden without accepting consent.

Keyboard first, mouse friendly

Press F1 for a searchable shortcut legend. Right-click a page or tab for relevant actions. Use find, bookmarks, printing, page saving, source viewing, zoom and Chromium developer tools.

Let inactive pages rest

Safe inactive tabs can sleep after five minutes, or when you choose. Pages with forms, editors, embedded content, media or pending uploads stay awake. Waking a sleeping tab reloads it; tab addresses and order recover after restart.

Know when a release is ready

Sill checks for updates at startup and hourly. A New update indicator links to the latest portable Windows download. Download and extract the new build; your separate local Sill profile is retained.

Organized around your work

A tabbed Menu groups appearance, passwords and autofill, history and bookmarks, protection, developer tools and updates. Sill confirmations and notices follow your selected theme. Windows file pickers retain their native appearance.

Bring your browsing history

Import detected Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox profiles, or select a compatible history database or JSON export. Source files are read-only. Search or remove entries locally; Sill retains the latest 20,000 unique web addresses.

Pick, capture and inspect

Pick a screen color and copy its HEX value. Save the visible page, draw a custom selection, capture a full page or scroll first to load lazy content. PNG captures restore your scroll position. View page details, source and Chromium Inspect tools.

Full-page captures are bounded to 30,000 px and 60 megapixels. Close Inspect before full-page capture; infinite pages and embedded scroll regions may require a selection.
