The name

Write Sill, with a capital S. Use Sill browser when the context needs clarification. Hamelton Software owns and develops Sill. Feature names use the same treatment: Sill Glide, Sill Workspaces, Sill Desk and Sill Airlock.

The marks

Teal Sill wordmark

Primary wordmark

Use the teal wordmark on light backgrounds. The supplied SVG keeps the lettering sharp at any size.

White Sill wordmark

Reverse wordmark

Use white on a dark, uncluttered background. Keep enough contrast for every part of the lettering.

Sill monogram

Compact mark

Use the monogram where the full name would be too small. Keep the wordmark nearby when introducing Sill.

Petrol teal

#087F83

RGB 8, 127, 131
Use the hexadecimal or RGB specification for screens. For print, ask your printer to match the supplied color using their output profile.

The supporting palette is intentionally restrained: pale backgrounds, deep ink and generous space. Teal identifies Sill; artwork and selected browser themes can introduce additional colors.

Give it room

Leave clear space around the wordmark of at least half the height of its capital S. As a practical minimum, use the full wordmark at 72 CSS pixels wide on screen. At smaller sizes, use the compact mark and test legibility at the final output size.

Keep the original proportions. Do not redraw the lettering, add outlines or shadows, place the mark over busy imagery, or combine it with another logo to imply a partnership.

Writing about Sill

Use direct, specific language. Explain what a feature does before describing its engineering. “Glide reveals the browser controls when you need them” is more useful than a claim about reinventing browsing.

Describe the current release as a public Windows beta. Avoid claims about measured memory savings, universal autofill support, mobile availability or industry-first technology without evidence.
