Passwords and autofill

Saved logins, address and payment profiles.

Reviewed for 0.1.0-beta.33 · Updated October 13, 2026

Import saved logins

Use the password import control to choose a supported CSV export from your previous browser. Review the imported entries in Sill before deleting an old profile. Password CSV exports contain sensitive data in plain text; remove the export when you no longer need it.

Use a saved entry

Eligible forms can receive a matching saved entry automatically. The field dropdown offers other entries for the matching URL or domain. Pick the account you intend to use. Multi-step forms, custom editors and embedded login flows may behave differently; manual entry may still be necessary.

Address and payment data

Sill supports saved address and card profiles for recognized fields. Review the values before submitting a form. Autofill does not submit the form for you.

If a form does not fill

  1. Check that a saved entry exists for the correct site.
  2. Click the relevant field and look for the saved-entry dropdown.
  3. Check whether the form is in a separate embedded frame or uses custom fields.
  4. Send the site address and Sill version in a private report. Do not include a real password or card number.
