Protection and site exceptions

Blocking controls and temporary or persistent allowances.

Reviewed for 0.1.0-beta.33 · Updated October 13, 2026

Review site protection

Use Protection in the browser controls to review the current domain. Sill offers request blocking, popup controls and annoyance filtering, including supported cookie-notice rules. Filters can miss content or affect a site’s behavior.

Allow a site temporarily

Choose the temporary allowance when a site needs a short exception. A persistent domain allowance keeps the exception across visits until you turn protection back on for that domain.

Restore protection

Return to Protection for the domain and re-enable blocking. Reload the page when needed to see the result. Allowing one site should not be used as a reason to turn protection off everywhere.

Report broken pages

Try a temporary exception and note whether the page works again. Send the domain, beta version and steps through the private report form. Never send private session tokens or account information.
